Firangi release date delayed : Kapil Sharma's movie got a NEW release date because of Padmavati controversy

Kapil Sharma is all set with his new movie; Firangi. He is very busy in promotions of the movie. He is making many public appearances, shooting promotional episodes on other television shows.

Movie is getting all kind of hype. The trailer has made enough buzz around the movie and songs are being appreciated by the fans. Fans can't wait more for the movie. But now, fans have to wait for longer. For at least one more week.

Firangi has been postponed by one week. Earlier, it was scheduled to release on 24th November but now it will release on 1st December. Though it was a very radical change but they had no choice. Padamvati controversy has affected the release date of many movies. Padmavati was scheduled to release on 1st December which is not happening now.

Firangi has been pushed on week while Fukrey returns has been preponed by one week. Fukrey return will release on 8th December. All of these changes are happening because of censor board's failure to approve Padmavati.
Even, Tiger Zinda Hai may be pushed ahead. It was slated to release on 22nd December .Now the reports are that it maybe pushed ahead to release in next year. Padmavati makers have not revealed the new release date. Padmavati controversy has affected the industry very badly. 2017 has not been a good for the industry overall.

But the push in the release date of Firangi will give more time to Kapil Sharma to promote his movie. This is his first movie as producers so he can promote his movie more effectively. Firangi is directed by Rajiv Dhingra and produced by Kapil Sharma.
